I spent 30 minutes on hold with SQ yesterday, only to have the agent insist that I could not pay $100 for a second stopover on a Star Alliance award, even though the rules posted on their website specify that I can do just that. HUCA can be painful if you actually have work to do and don’t have all day to stay on hold.
