New Stackable Hyatt Promotion for Bonus Points in Las Vegas

Hyatt is offering bonus points for staying at MGM hotels in Las Vegas between April 15 and July 31. Registration required.

  • 100% bonus: (5 extra points per dollar) Aria Resort & Casino; Bellagio; Delano; Mandalay Bay; MGM Grand; Mirage; Park MGM; Signature at MGM Grand; Vdara at Aria

  • 20% bonus: (1 extra point per dollar) Excalibur; Luxor; New York New York

Bonuses post “within three to four weeks” after each qualifying stay. Presumably MGM is paying Hyatt to goose bookings. Las Vegas visitors are down. This is essentially a rebate on room rate, they might find it more successful to drop price by eliminating resort fees.

This is similar to the double points offer at MGM properties during the last quarter of 2018 except that one offered double points even at lower-end properties like Excalibur and Luxor.

Through May 15 this stacks with Hyatt’s current unnamed promotion offering 1000 bonus points per night.

Mostly I’m a fan of Hyatt’s annual status match with MGM, which makes things a bit nicer in Vegas for someone that doesn’t go regularly and certainly doesn’t gamble a lot.

  1. how do you take these breathtaking pictures? Or do you get them from a stock photography site? These pictures are absolutely amazing my friend 🙂

  2. The resort fees are def whats slowing my business and they are steep enough that I can choose a better hotel who will at least throw in breakfast or a credit towards breakfast
so the resort fee doesn’t sting
I tried to check out at 2 PM at Aria and they asked me for a 200 dollar late check out fee!!!
More than the room! I had an insider get it for me for free but still………..
    They are rip off artists
