  1. If Google translated correctly, it says that the client was on hold for more than 5 hours with Booking.com and Booking.com has done nothing to remedy the situation. Hope the client paid with a credit card!

  2. I once had a problem with fake accommodation listing in Melbourne booked through Agoda.com which is owned by Booking.com.

When we arrived at the service apartment building, the “owner” never picked up the phone nor replied to our texts. After about an hour of waiting, it was clear to us that we’d been conned.

I decided to call Agoda in Singapore as I couldn’t find any Australian number.

I told the representative what happened. She then tried to contact the “owner.” After a few minutes on hold, she came back and told me that she couldn’t reach the “owner” either. She also said that that particular “owner” had already been reported by several other Agoda members. She apologised and promptly issued a full refund.

  3. Ummm…I’m more excited about that United 747 at the 9 second mark!

Are those still being used for cargo, are they operating under different carriers but haven’t updated the livery yet? What’s the story?!?

  4. The story is that video is OLD… ;^)

    United doesn’t fly them. Period.

And if you don’t believe me, the Virgin painted A320s parked at T2 is all the confirmation you need.

  5. @Doug – I only saw the timestamp on the post, didn’t realize the actual video was old. I know United flew their last 747 flights last year or 2 years ago…I took one from SFO-ICN a couple times.
