AMAZING: American and British Airways Business Class $1078 Roundtrip to Paris

First noticed on Flyertalk the AAVacations.com website is selling Paris business class roundtrips super cheap. These are available non-stop on American Airlines from several cities such as New York and Miami. These are also available connecting from many more cities including Los Angeles, Boston, and elsewhere. British Airways flights via Heathrow are also available.

In order to book these you need to also book a hotel, note that this is included in the price I’m talking about. You can actually book a Paris hotel for your stay or just sort for the cheapest hotel available and book the whole thing for around $1200 – $1300. Reportedly even cheaper flight and car rental options (no hotel) aren’t ticketing.

One Mile at a Time points out that you can get the price down to under $1100 per person roundtrip when booking for two (sharing a hotel) – that’s because the hotel costs are being split across two people.

Not all dates will have the cheapest fares available, but many do, and there are great deals even on days where you aren’t finding roundtrips for less than $1100 (for two) and under $1400 (for one).

  1. Looks real. But anyone know if you have to stay in the hotel you choose? Can you choose a crap one and stay somewhere else? Or that’s likfailing to take your connecting flight and they cancel your return?

  2. Where does this actually appear. I cannot get anything like this on their website, and their telephone agents are clueless. Totally unable to book anything resembling this through the AA Vacations website.

  3. Ok, the “deals” here don’t usually make me jealous, but since I just booked economy flights for a May-June trip that ends in Paris, consider me officially jealous.

  4. I just ran the AAvacations site thru a few iterations, one for May and another for mid April, just to be fair to OMAAT. I could use a cheap set of tix to Europe for May, need to visit family in Germany and bouncing off Paris is always a good idea. I used the advance search function and set a hotel stay at the minimum of 3 days for a two week trip, travel during mid week, stay mid month.

The search returns nothing lower than 3 star hotels. Minimum price per person in May is ~ $2500. Cheapest in April is ~ $2200. Now this is not bad for travel in J JFK to Paris and a few of the 3 star hotels are ones I have used in the past and they are nice. Not great, but nice. If you value these hotel rooms at about $200 per night (valid given what I can see on Hotels.com) then these are sub $2 K business class tix, which ain’t bad. But given the virtually constant offer of sub $2 K fares on La Compagnie, why would I go this route? I guess if I cared about status, sure, but I don’t (lifetime Plat, never gonna get better) so I am not finding this compelling.

Maybe there are better prices from MIA or other, but I am BOS so positioning to anything further away than JFK will have to wait for a better deal.
