I do not write about all credit cards that are available -- instead focusing on miles, points, and cash back (and currencies that can be converted into the same). The CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® Mastercard® offers 65,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® miles after spending $4,000 in purchases within the first 4 months of account opening. This card has a $0 annual fee the first year (then $99). Spend on the card earns Loyalty Points which are credit towards the airline’s status.

And the card has an offer to earn $125 in Uber credit when you create an account with Uber Business and spend $200 through it on rides or Uber Eats.

  • $50 voucher for spending $100 in the first 30 days, then
  • $75 voucher for spending an additional $100 in the first 90 days

When your organization pays for at least $100 in charges in the first 30 days on your Uber for Business account using a qualifying Citi® AAdvantage® Mastercard small business credit card, you’ll receive a $50 voucher for future rides and deliveries using the Uber app.

In addition, if you qualify for the first voucher, pay for at least an additional $100 (at least a total of $200) in charges in the first 90 days on your organization’s Uber for Business account using a qualifying Citi® AAdvantage® Mastercard small business credit card to receive an additional $75 voucher for future rides and deliveries using the Uber app. Terms and conditions apply.*

That’s also 200 Loyalty Points, and the $125 back for future Uber purchases comes with spend many of you will probably do anyway. Hopefully we’ll see more Uber Mastercard statement credits as well through SimplyMiles once the calendar rolls over into October.
