Searching via Skyscanner.com reveals that Trip.com will book New York JFK to Israel for less than $300 roundtrip in May and June. Hat tip to Secret Flying who sees $277 roundtrips on Air Serbia via Belgrade, here’s a $293 itinerary:
At this price tickets are non-refundable and change fees are greater than the cost of the fare. That means no changes. Since Air Serbia doesn’t do basic economy the fare includes a checked bag, and inflight service includes choice of hot meal and free drinks.
Secret Flying warns that this price is so low (compares to over $800 on other airlines) that i could be a mistake. I disagree, it looks like a deep discount sale to me. However the airline could get seller’s remorse so it’s a good idea to wait several days before making plans around these tickets.

If this was any other airline, I would jump. But not Air Serbia. The corona virus is now in Italy. In a month, air travel could be severely limited. Then what? Travel insurance is only so good. Most policies are not covering Covid-19. But one could say that this is just $600 write off…….

@Chris – there’s no failure to do homework, I’m highlighting a fare that is currently available and acknowledging I saw it posted elsewhere.
@Michael – I get that, but I try to be honest about these things, that’s where I saw the fare.
Trip.com is a Chinese company. They fare is cheaper for reason. If you cherish your privacy, choose other protocol instead.
I fully agree with Michael. Scummy Flying is to be avoided at all costs.
I was just reading reviews about Trip.com. They have horrible customer service per many posters. If you even make a mistake on a hotel date and discover it 30 seconds after the booking, they will not change it at all. And there is no “24 hour” rule for them for changing a flight.
