Chilling Air Traffic Control Audio As Boeing 777 Won’t Respond To Controls While Landing In Paris

Air France flight 11 from New York JFK to Paris had alarm sounds in the cockpit and one of the pilots called out “Stop! Stop!” several times on Tuesday morning as it descended through 1500 feet on final approach.

The 17 year old Boeing 777-300 reportedly did not respond to commands. The crew managed to execute a go around as it hit 1150 feet, after veering significantly to the left.

Flight Makes Emergency Landing As Maskless Man Assaults Cabin Crew

Friday’s Air France flight from Paris to Delhi, India made an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria when a passenger began arguing with those around him shortly after takeoff and assaulted a flight attendant.

The man is maskless. The flight attendant to puts up his fists, preparing to box, has his mask down beneath his nose. I can make out shouting about [Indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi, cabin crew telling people to sit down, and a woman with an Indian accent asking the man in English, “What the F- is wrong with you?”

Air France Has A New Safety Video, And It’s The Least Covid Thing Ever

Under normal circumstances I’d say it was serviceable, fine, but hardly interesting or innovative by modern standards. Yet there’s one salient feature to it: a 2021 safety video that makes no reference whatsoever to Covid-19. Nobody is even wearing masks. They’re crowded into a theater, for instance – a packed house – and no one is the least bit concerned about spread in such an indoor congregant setting.

How Air France Sees Travel Returning In The Coming Months

Air France KLM sees travel returning gradually over the course of the year. They expect to run 20% of normal capacity in June, 40% in July, 60% in August and then hover around 75% of normal for the rest of the year.

Despite currently losing an average of 20 million euros per day, they’re still planning to accept delivery of Airbus A350 aircraft in May and June.
