American Airlines Passenger Threatens Assault To Get Off Plane First — The Door Wasn’t Even Open Yet

“Your mother didn’t raise you right.” A woman on an American Airlines flight tried to deplane at Charlotte, moving toward the front of the aircraft and shoving herself past other customers while passengers were still waiting to deplane. The aircraft door apparently is even not open yet. She wants to move forward. Two passengers challenge her cutting the line to get off the aircraft and things get worse when she argues.

Capital One Is Building Its Biggest Airport Lounge Yet—14,000 Square Feet Coming to Charlotte

Capital One has signed a lease for a new lounge at Charlotte, and at roughly 14,000 square feet it would be the biggest Capital One Lounge yet. The space will sit on the mezzanine of the Concourse A expansion with tarmac views, locally inspired food, a full-service coffee bar, and work areas—though with only a concessions agreement in place, an opening likely isn’t soon.

New American Airlines Grab ‘n Go Lounge Hits Charlotte This Summer—Passengers Already Plotting To Empty The Fridges

It’s good that American Airlines is joining this trend. I’d rather see them investing in more lounges and lounge renovations. But additional options are certainly better than not. Hopefully those refrigerators will be stocked with a couple bottles of water I can grab when I pass through in a few days.
