The claim: that 99% of passengers make it through security in less than 30 minutes, and no one takes more than 45 minutes. That’s a lot of waiting, but much better than some other airports. The U.S. now requires a negative Covid-19 test in order to enter the country by air – even if you’re a citizen returning home. We’re hardly alone, many countries require a Covid-19 test to enter. Since testing can be an expensive hassle even people without the virus are faking negative tests. On one flight 95% of passengers presented fake negative results. But it’s not just negative Covid-19 test results that are being faked.

Someone’s Been Installing Fake Power Outlets in Airports as a Practical Joke

Someone been putting up fake power outlets at airports using stickers you can buy off of Amazon. Best I can figure it’s just meant as a cruel, cruel practical joke.

We all need to quickly charge devices between flights, especially when we’re flying planes and aircraft without seat power (and without seat back entertainment, where we’re forced to use those devices for entertainment). And airports are notorious for their lack of available outlets for passengers. Spotting an outlet may seem like the holy grail, but turn out to be a mirage.

$49 Flights to Europe (Brussels, Dublin, Frankfurt, London) from 4 US Cities

Airline investor Indigo Partners threw Wow Air a lifeline and Wow Air is partying with $49 flights to Europe.

From BWI I see January 21 through March 11 available to Brussels, Dublin, Frankfurt, London, and Iceland. There are similar offerings from Newark, Detroit, and Boston. This sale ends January 18 but limited inventory will sell out faster than that.
