Leave a Comment for a Chance to Win a 2-Night HYATT house Stay With Very Important Resident Status

Yesterday I posted about HYATT house’s new extended stay VIP benefits and that I’d be doing a giveaway of a 2-night HYATT house stay that waives the 30 day requirement to qualify for “Very Important Resident” status on that stay and gets you the inside track on giving those benefits a spin.

Here’s how to enter to win:

  • Read about the new HYATT house ‘Very Important Resident’ benefits.

  • Leave a comment in this current contest post, answering the question “Which new benefit is your favorite and why?” Is it the ability to pick your suite, the grocery shopping service, the personalized hotel tour, or something else?

  • You may enter up to once a day — and I give you a bit of slack in this, I won’t disqualify any entry as long as you don’t make more than one entry per calendar day or as long as no entry is closer than 24 hours together from another one. And if you’re close, we’re cool. I’m not looking to disqualify people, just to make sure there’s no massive ballot stuffing.

All entries (comments) must be received no later than Sunday, June 2 at Noone Eastern time.

I will draw the winner at random early next week from those that meet these guidelines. Make sure you enter a valid e-mail address when entering to be eligible to win (you do not need to leave an email address in the comments, but along with your name where it asks for your email that email must be ‘real’ or I will have no way of contacting you).

I’m the final arbiter in all matters related to this contest and in all matters of interpretation. There is no appeal. I’m doing this because there’s an opportunity to send out some cool prizes, and not taking anything from them in return, so please don’t give me a hard time in the process.

Any questions? email me. And hopefully the winner will also follow up with me to let me know their impressions of the new HYATT house benefits for guests making extended stays.

  1. Grocery list. Nothing beats coming to a place that has food and DRINKS ready

  2. I have actually stayed long term in hotels and for me the “pick your suite” will make a huge difference. Sometimes it’s the littlest things that can make you feel at home during long stays (the way the bed faces, the extra foot of space in the bedroom, etc) so I feel this is a neat benefit!

  3. grocery shopping service: This is the best way to stay healthy while on the road.

  4. Pick you suite feature is the most attractive as the market value of an upgrade to the suite of one’s preference is much higher than any other benefits.

  5. Pick your suite! I can finally get as close to my wish list as possible … top floor, end room, no connecting doors, etc…

  6. We stayed in a Hyatt House this weekend and found the breakfast to be top notch!

  7. Grub stub because I could always use a snack or drink after a day’s travel and checking into Hyatt House.

  8. Hi,

Definitely like the grocery shopping service. I’m vision impaired and hard to find the shops and don’t want to make my wife do everything.

    Dale.

  9. I like the breakfast — nothing beats the convenience of heading downstairs for a free, made-to-order omelette before an exhausting day of business.

  10. The grocery shopping would be very helpful when visiting a new place. It could be a huge time saver for busy professionals. Also it would be a huge help for families who could use supplies when they arrive. Thanks.

  11. Picking your suite because it helps to have an extra room when traveling with young children.

  12. The grocery benefit would be the best. That would save valuable time and hassle and is like having your own personal shopper!

  13. “Favorites” Folio is a really cool idea, hopefully they’d follow through with it and it not become just another guest preferences option on their website. I’d have them stock some frosted flakes and lactose free milk for me!

  14. Love the idea of “pick your suite.” Sort of like run of the house, except the guest chooses. Nice concept.

  15. My favorite would be the Pick your Suite benefit. I always love to see the room before I can decide which one I want..like being in a candy store.
