Last Friday 50 crocodiles were found at London’s Heathrow airport. The saltwater crocodiles were all about one year old and were supposed to be headed for a farm where they would be bred for their meat. In my experience crocodiles taste like chicken.
These crocs originated in Malaysia and were being shipped illegally — because of how they were packed. As is often the case with people being smuggled into the United States, the crocodiles were crammed ten to a box, each of which was only meant to hold four.
The crocodiles “had started to fight each other during the flight” because of their close quarters. Crocfighting.
- Q: What do you call a crocodile in a vest?
A: Investigator
Q: How do you tell the difference between a crocodile and an alligator?
A: You will see one later and one in a while.
Fortunately for them, though, 49 of the 50 have survived and they’ve all be granted asylum — “being cared for before being rehomed.”
Good luck to those crocs surviving all the knife violence in London that’s turned the city into a “war zone”.
