  1. The only reason the Southwest incident gets attention and a book written by the pilot is because the pilot is a woman. It may have just been the media and social media trumpeting pro female anti male discrimination but for the pilot to write a book about the flight speaks volumes especially so soon after the incident. Everyday another low for the world.

  2. “An all-female Delta crew flew 120 girls to NASA to get them interested in aviation careers”

Wow I’m so glad that in this age where schools unfairly discriminate against boys (look at graduation and college rates) that we have wonderful programs like these to discriminate even more!

    #EQUALITY!

  3. Omg.. the comments above just prove how ignorant and blind men are to what true equality looks like. As soon as women or young girls are heard of getting any kind special treatment or being put first and just focuses on them
To better their futures, the makes soevies freaks out and calls it unfair. Really!!!???? We have been living in a mans world surrounded by white make privilege for YEARS AND YEARS! Finally women get the same treatment for a minute amount of time and men scream discrimination? Wow! You don’t even know the meaning of it! This isn’t even about that, it’s gender biased for men to constantly being given better treatment and women never being treated equally in regards to education and not being paid As much for the same job etc.. the list goes on. Men have no right to complain when women are finally given what men have been given for years! How does it feel?

To better their futures, the male species freaks out and calls it unfair. Really!!!???? We have been living in a mans world surrounded by white male privilege for YEARS AND YEARS! Finally women get the same treatment for about a minute and men scream discrimination? Wow! You don’t even know the meaning of it! This isn’t even about that, it’s gender biased for men to constantly being given better treatment and women never being treated equally in regards to education and not being paid As much for the same job etc.. the list goes on. 6. Sorry Natasha men aren’t given anything by society, women are given everything; and when people try to help men feminists do their best to shut it down.

I know calling it out the unfair discrimination feels bad to you, but when you women are used to privilege equal treatment may feel like discrimination to you :-<

  7. @Natasha&ab. Natasha don’t pay attention to anything ab says as he is a total fool. This guy believes Alex Jones is a journalist so he can’t be all that bright. Wait till the judge makes Jones pay damages for all his false conspiracy theories. I’m hoping this puts Jones into bankruptcy and shuts his lying trap. May there be more NASA flights!

  8. @Nathasha: In the world of piloting aircraft, there has been an advantage given to women for the 40 years I have been a pilot–at least in the hiring , because there are fewer women pilots.
When I started flight instructing in 1979, a female instructor could get hired by an airline with only a few hundred hours.
The advantage isn’t the same as when there were almost no female airline pilots, partly because of the “hours” requirement in the US, but mainly because of the demand for pilots in general.

  9. Rog

Does the freedom of the press apply to Alex or do those complaining about freedom of the press only believe it applies to the corporate media rather than every US citizen? hmmmm??????

  10. A_B any assertion that Alex Jones is even remotely a quasi-legitimate journalist just makes you look like the B, C or D county rube you most likely are.

Now I will say I’m surprised by the title of the book. The pilot , in interviews immediately after, was anything but the self -aggrandizing type. Even Sully’s book was more modest. The title is more appropriate for a Marvel comic.

  11. And to Natasha – as a 50 something white guy, if I died tomorrow and was reincarnated, I would insist on coming back as a smart, good looking woman. Because that’s who will own the next 50 yrs for sure. Its already a women’s world in the sense that they already have the leverage, and will have it for the foreseeable future. Fortunately, I’m raising one of my very own, and she will have to know how to compete with other women who have that same leverage. But to deny today’s reality is nonsense.

Raising a boy well and properly is tougher than ever IMO. Men will always be the source of almost all crime. Plus, rightly or wrongly, future economic prospects will be less vs. historical norms , unless we truly institute equal pay for equal work (which will actually benefit men as much as women).

The only thing 50+ males are “given” are a bankers box and a security escort out the door, before they become a healthcare and pension liability.
