Europe Business Class From $1097 Roundtrip Available Through Mid-January

I woke up to an alert from Premium Flights about business class roundtrips between several U.S. cities and Europe from $1650. That’s an amazing deal, especially from the West Coast, and this deal was available “from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, New York, Boston, Miami and many more cities in the US” to Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Brussels, and more – with travel valid through mid-January.

I’ve been surprised how relatively little interest there’s been for deals on future travel, even business class deals with great prices. So I filed it away in the back of my head rather than sharing it broadly Until Nick Reyes pointed out that some small online travel agency sites are making these fares available for less – much less.

For instance here’s Chicago – London for $1097 roundtrip in business class.

These fares can be found at Skyscanner and are bookable through Travel2BE and EmailFlights.

I haven’t made bookings through these sites before. Honestly I hadn’t heard of them before. However if you make a booking, get a ticket number, and the ticket shows up on the airline’s side as confirmed then you’re fine. And if something doesn’t go through you’re either not charged, or could always dispute and win through your credit card company.

I haven’t heard problem stories about small online travel agency sites selling airfare, at least not since the old days of selling discount premium cabin tickets originating in a different city than the one you were flying from and tearing out the first coupon from your ticket book. However I can’t explicit endorse these sites either.

Of course even booking $1500 roundtrip business class tickets to Europe is a great deal.

  1. These aren’t live prices. It’s not fraud, but it is a scam. You will make the booking request and then get a phone call saying the airfare quoted is no longer available, but another fare is available for just $500 more. Please don’t promote these sites.

  2. @Mitch is right. And the scammers who operate these sites need to be splashed in the face with the first three letters of his last name.

  4. Scam or not – HELLO! – “change of airport in NYC” should be enough reason to NOT buy that awful outbound itinerary no matter how cheap!

    I mean, seriously, the “new LGA” isn’t THAT NICE that it’s worth going from there to JFK for the connecting flight to London!

  6. Kayak tends to have the legit ones listed from my experience. Used a few obscure ones a couple of times and it was fine. Just god help you if you need to make a change.

  10. I’m will you, Jake. Gary, it’s one thing to get a confirmed reservation with a ticket number; it’s quite another to rely on the agency when things go pear-shaped. I understand there’s a number of fringe agencies who’ve either gone out of business during the pandemic or have simply stopped answering calls. The measure of a big business is how it treats its customers in time of irregularity and I think it’s naive of you to at least not be putting a massive warning in neon lights.
