News notes from around the interweb:
- Rimowa Amex Offer. Rimowa shares that they’re partnering with Aemrican Express to offer 10,000 Membership Rewards points on purchases of $600 or more. This is the preferred brand of luggage of a lot of frequent flyers – they make absolutely fantastic bags (not cheap).
- Nature is healing.

- Singapore Airlines miles that would have expired April through December 2020 are given 6 month extensions
- Award space for new Emirates first class suites, Dubai – Singapore
- TSA may be forced to perform temperature checks at security checkpoints even though the agency says they’re not very useful – people spread the virus without a fever, people with a fever don’t necessarily have COVID-19, and you’re asking people to enter the airport to get their temperature taken before airlines are willing to waive ticketing penalties. That all adds up to a dumb approach.
Rimowa makes great bags. If you’re ever transiting Germany, the airport stores have them much cheaper than you can purchase them in the US and have different styles, too.
