  1. Maybe they should start by downsizing food options for the Execs. Chapek looks like he could use a few more salads.

But in all seriousness, that a senior exec would say this in public tells you the disregard with with the Disney leadership holds their customer base.

  2. For the prices they charge people should be allowed to be gluttons. Sure they’ll downsize the portions but prices will be going up. So glad I buy a lot of discounted Disney gift cards. And definitely staying off site. And definitely doing more in Orlando vs Disney for the 2 weeks we will be there.

  3. Truth is, the Disney CFO is right–waistlines could be trimmed. He’s not calling people ‘fat’. The average Disney visitor could benefit from a bit of tweaking in food consumption. Even those of us pudgies like myself agree!

  4. Regardless of the fatness of their guests, Disney doesn’t need to cut portion size on food to maintain the extremely high margin they have on their overpriced food. This is just them being greedy, as usual

  5. Disney CFO just wants to cut the size of portions but keep charging the same amount. If there was any legitimate concern about weight and overall health they would be offering more healthy and filling food alternatives.

  6. Tall people need to be considered too. Tall people eat larger portions and maintain a healthy weight.

  7. so the $22 turkey leg is now 30 % smaller. genius

then again, only idiots visit Disney so who gives a shit

  8. “josh rogan” is very well qualified to determine who is and is not an idiot, I’m sure of it!

  9. Disney is one of the few places where a burger and fries that are of McDonalds quality can set you back 3x-4x what you would pay at McDonalds. I think their margins are fine….just pure greed.
