Unions gotta union…..
Who the F cares !!! The airline is 24/7 365 day operation ! So what they fly at night too !
If you really knew anything about pilot training then you would know that pilots train in sims 24 hours a day 7 days a week. A sim thats sitting idle isn’t making money for the sim operator. The big airlines have a lot of sims but not enough to train all their pilots and use private simulator operators to get a bulk of their training done. There are pilots training in those sims late at night most nights. I know plenty of pilots that are just now making it to the big boys. They would train in sims at 11pm…..3am….or whenever they could get sim time. This is a common thing.
Fascinating article about Intercontinental hotels.
Aeroplan link is broken. Can’t seem to find any Uber offers on the AC website… was the promotion pulled or not ready to be promoted?
Graveyard shift simulator sessions are a common occurrence worldwide however if there are restriction in the CBA regarding such time slots then the airline must bargain to gain the flexibility they want as that is what they agreed to. If there are no such restrictions the company is free to do what they want. Simple.
