News and notes from around the interweb:
- Single woman Airbnb’ing shared home alone seems like a bad idea? The son of an Airbnb host who rented out a room hid a cell phone in the bathroom, taking photos of a woman staying there. He’s been sentenced to more than three years in federal prison.
The woman was captured she got out of the shower in the shared bath. She discovered the phone, which had a draft message on it:
This girl is driving me crazy. She’s accidentally sexy. I don’t think that’s what she wants here. I never get what I want and it frustrates me…
She left the property and contacted Airbnb, which moved her to a hotel and banned the host. The man then contacted the woman through multiple Facebook accounts, trying to blackmail her, saying he’d distributed nude photos of her unless she sent him a sexually explicit video. His defense to charges was that he never actually planned to execute on the threat.

- Chris Christie’s niece bit offers after being kicked off of Spirit Airlines. She threatened that everyone involved would be fired because ‘she knows Donald Trump.’ She is now facing charges.
A lot of posts are about entitlement. Even the wingtips scraping is probably about entitlement where one pilot maybe was not in the right place and the other was entitled to push through without enough clearance.
That’s not a backpack… just a little carry on bag.
