- The American Airlines plan to drop international Flagship First Class has now become clear. The Boeing 777-300ER will get business class suites with doors but lose first class. The retrofit project is called Olympus, and the prototype start has been pushed back from August to September per JonNYC:
AA: It seems the 777-300 retrofit project has a name (similar to Oasis,) it appears to be "Olympus."
And, first one supposed to be done (as prototype, needless to say,) early September.

- Portland airport will pay people $50 to try out its new terminal
- Delta going with Italian luxury brand Missoni for amenity kits compare to the competition.

- A mother and daughter were captured on airport cameras entering the Charlotte airport premises, grabbing bags at baggage claim, and leaving with them. They weren’t passengers. Law enforcement had them dead to rights.
The mother turned herself in. The daughter remains at large. Suitcases were recovered, but the contents are gone. Airports have more law enforcement on premises than almost anywhere else, and cameras are everywhere. They’re one of the dumbest places to do crime.

If you’re gonna steal suitcases, don’t steal bright orange and bright yellow ones. Steal nondescript black or grey ones. Then you could pretend like you got them confused with your own. But hey, I’m not an idiot criminal, what do I know.

Nor will there be Flight Attendants, as they will be going on strike.
Want to bet AA will claim they can’t pay FAs in a new contract because they spent the money on “Project Olympus?”
