Shirtless Man Sprints Past American Airlines Jet At LAX, Tackled by Police in Viral Video

It’s always American Airlines or Spirit. At LAX on Saturday around 6 a.m. it was American.

A shirtless man was caught on camera as he ran from police on the tarmac of Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday.

…At some point [the man] “became irate” and ran out onto the airfield, which prompted a response from Los Angeles Police Department officers. The video shows as the man, who for undisclosed reasons left his shirt behind, runs with one LAPD officer following close behind.

Passive voice from LAX Police is priceless, “During their attempt in taking the suspect into custody, a use of force occurred.” The man was arrested and charged with battery against a police officer.

  1. Totally unnecessary use of force. Dude was simply out for a casual jog.

In all seriousness though, the police did well by not shooting him.

  2. If you’re going to do it, should do it properly with no clothes at all. What a wasted opportunity lol.

  3. Terminal 5 has a lawless feeling to it and passengers are on the apron regularly to take the bus to the remote gates. I often get the feeling like I want to run away when I am in that situation. LAXPD did a good job. LA Sheriff would have shot him.

  4. This situation in the video was kinda funny to watch, even though I do understand that the airport authorities would of taken this incident very seriously because they don’t want any bystandards getting loose out on the airport tarmack because you’d be puting aircrafts at risk of running you over, plus you’d also be puting your own life at risk as well. But,I guess this individual thought it would be a good idea to go for a crazy run on an airport tarmack Lol
