News and notes from around the interweb:
- Passenger next to you vomiting up Covid for duration of flight is worth 10,000 Delta miles in compensation
On Saturday I took a flight home from CDG -> LAX in prem select and the passenger directly behind me threw up for the ENTIRE 12 hour flight – all over herself, the floor, the seat…everywhere and everything. The FA’s did nothing about the situation – I think I counted the passenger vomiting at least 10 times on the floor and she refused to clean up after herself. I was hoping it was food poisoning but I just woke up today and tested positive for Covid

- The restaurant at the Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa Kauai by Outrigger charges a resort fee to diners not staying at the property, wut?
Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica will become a Hyatt Centric effective September 18 and will be reward category 6. Good location in Santa Monica, will get $16 million investment funded by Hyatt, though it could probably use much more than that.. which is why it’ll be a Centric.

Is it just me or does Delta Premium Select sounds like a brand of cat food?
Something smells like puke on the puke story and the original post has been deleted.
I have never paid any “resort fee” . If they tell me up-front , I go elsewhere . If they surprise me at check-in , I refuse on the grounds I was not informed . If it was this restaurant , and they surprised me at the end , I would have called the police . I
Alert better not dine in Miami then. 20% is auto included on most bills. Tons of places don’t even make it obvious once you’ve paid and then ask for another 20%
@alert
+1 and 100 pct agree
Seems like the facial recognition worked as advertised. The passenger tried to use someone else’s ID and was caught. The lookup finding a “financial responsibilities” warrant was manual after failing the facial recognition.
It was premium COVID.
And vomit.
Long covid is no joke
It’s more common the more times you get covid, though people can develop it after one covid episode
Wear a mask on the plane, stupid
Not to be all 2020 Fauci but if someone is displaying URI symptoms on a plane the right response is to wear a good KF94, not to ask for points.
If you’d like a premium flight from CDG, to be shared with elite guests, please choose Delta.
It’s more hilarious when we can have.a vomit post that also links to past vomit posts and diarrhea posts. This is VFTW!
I would say this was Absolutely a Poor offer that was made due to the supposed *Covid* crap, even though a lot out there called it a *Scamdemic*
VML – you made my laugh outloud!
Yes, Delta Premium Select is the same as cat food. That’s what they serve for the main course.
Yeah Gary, your TSA story isn’t how you spun it at all. She got caught using someone else’s ID AND boarding pass. It was only when she handed them an expired physical ID of herself that the warrant turned up. Makes me wonder if she used the other person’s ID and boarding pass because she knew her ID would flag the warrant. To spin her warrant turning up due to facial recognition technology is super duper lame for you. Do better with your axe grinding…
