Malaysia Airlines closed their primary business and first class lounges at their home Kuala Lumpur airport back in October for renovation. These are the lounges in the satellite terminal most convenient for their departures.
While they were in theory already have supposed to be re-opened, the good news is they’re close and they’re predicting a February 28 re-opening.
[B]oth lounges are now expected to re-open by February 28 (although we suspect nobody will hold it against them if that slips another few days into early March).
…A focal point for the new lounges will be an open ‘demonstration kitchen’ where chefs will whip up Malaysian and international gourmet dishes for travellers; a “bistro service” in the business class lounge and upscale “fine dining experience” in the neighbouring first class lounge..

This is great news. My wife and I used their temporary lounge when we flew through KUL in November; which is little more than a cordoned off part of the terminal. We’ll have to find a reason to fly through KL again.
