Airbus Ablaze: Flames Engulf Frontier Airlines Plane After Vegas Landing, Passengers Evacuated

Frontier Airlines flight 1326 from San Diego to Las Vegas touched down and the underside of the Airbus A321 burst into flames on Saturday. Smoke emitted from the aircraft as it continued to taxi. Firefighters at the scene sprayed the aircraft with water and extinguished the blaze. Having just occurred, this is a developing incident.

Earlier this year the aircraft, registration N701FR, diverted back to Denver when its left hand engine reported a fire indication, though it was cleared by final approach.

  1. It’s mind boggling the extent the Democrats will go through to distract from their campaign. They’re just trying to manipulate the news cycle. People could have been hurt here.

  2. Don’t know what you’re talking about Uncle Jeff — it was Trump. My brother’s second wife’s sister’s cousin said she was there and that’s what someone told her.

  3. Does a certain sad comment reflect certain a select Republican derangement condition?
Back on topic it is a relief that no one seems to have been injured and folks didn’t have to use slides to exit the plane

  4. looks like this is a bad start for this Airbus. No doubt the mechanic crew that work on these little air buses are gonna get flack coming their way for not spotting any dangers before the airbus hit the airways
