  1. @ Gary — The MIA gate agent should be fired. American should just be honest and annouunce that they don’t clean the planes between flights.

  2. There is no context to this. Was the agent being disrespectful, or was the photographer being a jerk? I personally see too many passengers harassing gate agents, entitled “A Holes” demanding the entire universe and a refund over matters that the gate agent has NO control or authority over.

  3. My guess is that he will not be terminated. He will likely file a union grievance and if this was a first time complaint he will be allowed to stay. I think it’s déclassé but he is being honest about how AA employees feel about fliers, an in particular frequent fliers. They are the worst in their opinion. If the passengers just went away then the employees would have a much better time.

  4. How stupid is this .. posting it online and thinking that his supervisors wouldn’t see it . But… they hired him let them deal with it…

  5. American is on a race to the bottom of the barrel with United. I will say it again. American is a marketing firm that flies planes. Fire this dude immediately.

  6. I think Korbel or the infamous Andre may be better than that Spanish sparkling wine. It’s at most $9 a bottle. I’m guessing in Spain it’s even cheaper.
