There’s a rant attracting a lot of attention online about passengers standing up “like their lives depended on it” at the end of a 40 minute flight. They’re incredulous that someone would do this on such a short flight (or at all).
American Airlines Bring Back Espresso For Boeing 777 Business Class
American Airlines stopped catering the espresso machines on board their Boeing 777, Boeing 787, and Airbus A321T aircraft during the pandemic. The “frothing wands, cups, saucers, brewing pods” were taken off of planes, according to the airline.
This returned to some aircraft in spring 2022. However, Boeing 777-200s didn’t get catered, and Boeing 777-300ERs only got espresso in first class. That’s changed!

I have exactly the same number of elite qualifying miles and nights as everyone else today.
‘The Lavatory Is Not Your Litter Box’: Southwest Boots Passenger After Kitten’s Accident—Then Lets Them Fly Anyway
A Southwest Airlines passenger’s 7-month-old kitten had a potty accident after getting scared during a rough landing. She cleaned up the mess, but the crew on the continuing flight segment closed the lavatory due to the smell, confronted her, and removed them from their next flight on the same aircraft.

An Amtrak station was built at the Miami airport, and after three decades of development the government rail corporation has decided not to use it. It was completed eight years ago, and they’re just walking away.
American Airlines Philadelphia Admirals Club Fails Health Inspection
It appears these issues were written up in August, though they’re just now coming to light. Fortunately this club’s kitchen is undergoing renovation and it does seem as though those things could be connected – or at least they’re a fortunate coincidence.

Capital One Cutback: No More Unlimited Priority Pass Guests
This appears to be new language. The card has covered unlimited guests in the past. I’ve reached out to Capital One for clarification about whether this is a hard limit that’s already gone into effect, or just a change in marketing language.
