  1. We got hot towels in KLM Y about 10 years ago. I remember thinking that was very nice.

    While it’s not really applicable to the story in question… Domestically, I’d also much prefer Y on a DL 738 with wifi and live TV to F on a dark UA flight.

  2. Having flows Singapore in coach from JFK to SIN — and beyond — I can tell you that they have a very nice coach product. It’s the kind of experience you wish you could get flying coach in the USA. The problem is that a lot of the flights are really far. I’m not sure the human body was meant to sit in a small airline seat for 22 hours. I wish they’d install pods or something so you could lay down.

  3. There is no doubt in my mind that SQ probably is the best standard Y product in the sky. I flew them with kids on FRA-SIN-KUL-SIN-FRA a couple of years ago and it was really excellent.
