News and notes from around the interweb:
- It wasn’t a Hilton manager this time He also stole women’s shoes, and left.. “forensic evidence.”
Between July 1 and 3, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says a man used the sliding screen doors at a Stateline, Nevada, hotel on Elks Point Road to gain access to guest rooms. Once inside, the man approached sleeping women in their beds, the sheriff’s office says. “Each female awoke from their sleep as the subject was rubbing their feet,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a statement. “Once awake the females confronted the male subject and he fled the scene.”
- The eclairs could be dangerously good. I’ve seen the macarons elsewhere and they’re well-reviewed. Honestly though before the food upgrade I liked the baklava.
New deserts at the DCA admirals club
by u/msitty1 in americanairlines - After The Mark hotel in New York refused to serve alcohol to an underage man, he hired protestors to hold signs claiming the hotel “denies the Holocaust, supports Jeffrey Epstein and has mice.” The chants can be heard in the background of this video:
- Police find $70,000 in jewelry stolen from passenger at Boston Logan airport. I guess that’s nothing compared to the thieves who stole $9.3 million from a passenger checking in with Emirates in Barcelona.
- Hyatt now lets you combine points as well as free night awards (and even paid nights) in a single reservation booked through their website, and even choose which award they’d like to apply rather than just the one that expires first (so, for instance, you might use a later-expiring category 1-4 free night award instead of a closer-expiring category 1-7 award). Nice improvement to online booking!
- The City Express loyalty program has been folded into Marriott Bonvoy, and City Express hotels are now eligible for both points earn and redemption.
The kid has money to hire protesters?
Get one of the protesters to buy him alcohol?
An American Airlines eclair? I’m sure they flew it in from Paris
