Earn 1000 AAdvantage Miles Per Hyatt Stay In Major U.S. Cities For 3 Months

Stays at 194 U.S. Hyatts earn a bonus 1000 American AAdvantage miles between November 1 – January 31, 2022. Registration is required by December 15.

Participating Hyatts are in the Chicago, DC, Dallas, New York, Denver, Phoenix, Nashville, LA, Seattle, and San Francisco markets. The full list of hotels is here (.xlsx).

The American Airlines – Hyatt partnership has been great for earning extra miles and points, as well as for status matches. This offer isn’t as lucrative as the 1000 AAdvantage miles per night offered earlier this year, but certainly welcome on top of regular earning.

This offer is being made,

  • In heavy business travel markets
  • At a time when there’s traditionally little business travel
  • And when major corporate travel really hasn’t restarted yet

So it appears they’re trying to goose business at hotel properties less likely to fill up than resort destinations. They could, I suppose, take this a step further and award the bonus miles for stays during the week. Thankfully they didn’t do that, and I’ll probably have stays in DC and New York during the period. At some margin I might even consider this for a couple of my upcoming Los Angeles one night stays as well.

  1. Overwhelmingly great promo! Stay 270x for a biz flight (one way) to Europe under the new devalued (dis)AAdvantage program! Hurrah!

WTF is Hyatt doing for a Q4 global promo, 2022 elite qualification levels etc?
