The New United QuestSM Card (See rates and fees)
New cardmembers can earn 100,000 bonus miles and 3,000 Premier qualifying points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months that this card account is open. That’s an unprecedented offer for the product, and availability at this link ends 6 p.m. Eastern time on August 20, 2025.
This $350 annual fee card isn’t your everyday spend tool just for the miles. It earns 3x miles on United® purchases; 2x miles on dining, select streaming services, and all other travel; 1x mile on all other purchases.
However, you receive a $200 United® travel credit and 10,000-mile award flight discount on each account anniversary (terms apply); a 10,000-mile eligible award flight discount after spending $20,000 each calendar year; earn 2 global Economy Plus® seat upgrades after spending $40,000 on purchases each calendar year; and get a jump start on earning Premier status with 1,000 Card Bonus PQP each year, awarded within 6 to 8 weeks after February 1 each year (starting in 2026).
But the reason to pay attention right this moment is that big bonus which will be pulled soon.
I did this one; it’s a good bonus, and the PQP boost is helping me re-qualify for Premier Platinum; gotta get those PlusPoints… the coupon book credits aren’t ‘fun,’ (though, I’m gonna try to use the JSX one). Probably gonna ditch it after a year. Let the eligibility reset and do it all over again in 24-48 months. Rinse and repeat. This is the way. (Until Chase does a ‘once per lifetime’ rule here, too).
If you are interested awas invited to apply for a Wells Fargo credit card. I was told my credit score was 830 yet I was turned down by Wells Fargo. They have admitted that the information they used to turn me down, which I maintain is incorrect, they in fact have never seen and have no ability to review it. This is apparently acceptable practice at WELLS. I find this confusing and laughable. I have in writing the turndown letter that also says my credit score is 830. I hope you are interested enough to contact me.
Did it too — race you to $4000, @1990.
I don’t see much advantage to use over other cards in my aresenal besides UA purchases and one ride share a month but I think it’s a solid card to have for the semifrequent United flier. Nice day-of benefits for a statusless airline free agent (boarding group, check in bags).
With my current travel plans I also would hit Premier Silver this year with the bonus PQP so there’s that. Then I’ll be ever so slightly less not as fancy as you guys!
