Entry Thread for My Reader Giveaway: 44,000 Hyatt Gold Passport Points

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Check out Hyatt’s Facebook page. They are posting itineraries from their hotel property General Managers. Have a look.

  2. Then leave a comment to this post with the hotel property whose itinerary interests you most, or the property you’d like to see an itinerary from. Any Hyatt property.

Then you’ll be entered to win 44,000 Hyatt points — enough for two nights at any Hyatt in the world, or more nights at less expensive properties. So you might just get to experience one of those itineraries.

But only enter once, by noon Eastern on December 25. And I will draw the winner at random after that.

Full details can be found in the previous thread. That thread is also where you ask any questions, as this post is strictly for entries. You won’t want to ask questions here, in this post because (1) I won’t really be looking at the comments in this post until the contest is over and (2) you don’t want to post more than once to this thread, since anyone who does so is ineligible to win.

Thanks for playing, and to Gold Passport for letting me share some of their free night goodness with my readers!

  1. Hyatt San Francisco would be fabulous for a weekend. Right on Embarcadero with so much to see and do.

  2. I’m freezing my butt off in New York so how could I pass up Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa in Honolulu? No idea how i would get to Hawai’i, maybe I can find a nice airline website…

  3. Mainz, Deutschland. We are in that area for two days in July for part of our first ever F redemption award flight!

  4. Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Chicago. I visited the city of Chicago for the first time a few weeks ago (even though I’ve flown through ORD a million times) and loved it! I want to go back with a bunch of friends.

  5. How about park hyatt shanghai?
Shanghai is an attractive city and Park Hyatt shanghai is new and great, I heard.

  6. Planning a Korea trip in 2011, so I’d love to see an itinerary from the Park Hyatt Seoul! Great stuff there already and I’ll be using some of the DC one in January.

  7. Considering how cold it is here in OH today, I like the sound of the Tampa Bay itinerary. Also would like to see the Paris Park Hyatt Place Vendome.

  8. The DC itinerary sounds good to me, but I’d also like to see one for Bonita Springs as I’ve been considering a visit there in the near future.

  9. The Hyatt at The Bellevue in Philadelphia looks like a great time. I think I would add a few historical stops to the itinerary though.

  10. The itinerary from Hyatt Regency Austin sounds AWESOME. Austin has been on my “must visit” list for a long time. I want to check out the music scene and the food.

  11. Right now my wife and I are trying to plan a vacation to Hawaii before we leave the USA for 4 years on business. Since we have never been to Hawaii and this will be our only chance for the next 4 years I would pick the Hyatt in Kauai, Hawaii

  12. I’d like to see an itinerary for the Park Hyatt Sydney.

Also, for those of you who mention the Hyatt Regency Austin, you should go there — Austin is great, and I always try to stay at that Hyatt whenever I go to Austin. But the itinerary on Facebook didn’t even mention my favorite part: there’s a great hike-and-bike trail that is literally right out the back door of the Hyatt. It’s fantastic if you’re a runner, walker, or biker.
