I flown long haul in coach a lot and I never had a person seated next to me with so many hacks. I hope all of the hacks worked out as she said they would. My biggest hack for sleeping is to take the strongest form of Nyquil. That usually works pretty good but it can sometimes leave me not ready to sleep at the end time zone.
Maybe the biggest way to not get food born pathogens flying long haul in coach is to pick your airline carefully. I bring my own food or eat at the terminal or eat at home on cross USA flights. There are many Asian airlines that provide very good food on flights across the Pacific.
My hack is to buy business.

@ jns — “Maybe the biggest way to not get food born pathogens flying long haul in coach is to pick your airline carefully”. Paranoid much?
So tired of tips by 4 foot 11 females wearing athliesure/pajamas in premium economy window seats. But for whatever reason they continue.
I have flown from the East Coast via Miidle East to the Indian Ocean for a long weekend and back in economy middle seat at 6 foot 3, in a suit and tie It’s not that difficult. Just bring a good book to read and wear comfortable low heeled shoes.
Hacks! On tiktok? Okay credit for lots of water. But I also bring tiny slivers of French milled soap and disposable bamboo wash towels. So small they could be used as a bookmark. Also the milled soap does not contain the sodium laurel sulfide in liquid soap, passes through security and won’t dry out your skin. Lathers in tiny bubbles and can be wiped off rather than rinsed with nasty messy tank water. Love refreshing this way. Perfect bird bath.
Ummm, I would be careful about reporting the truth of cars being stolen at airports. There are cameras everywhere, and most (all?) expensive cars have GPS locaters in them. I know mine does. And the police (and believe it or not, the United States Postal Service, actually care about this). I.E., your car is safer at the airport than your home.
My hack: I can’t stay awake on airlines. Getting on a 13 flight tonight & looking forward to the best sleep in week.
Jack: You are one lucky guy! Safe travels
