Fluorescent Green Fluid Pours Out The Ceiling Of Miami Airport

A pipe leak in the Miami airport caused fluorescent green fluid to pour out the ceiling around 9 a.m. Eastern on Thursday morning. Cleanup took about 90 minutes and the airport assures that the contents weren’t ‘dangerous’ – in fact a “green dye” that helps trace the source of water leaks to its source. Terminal G houses Southwest Airlines, WestJet and others.

Back in December a pipe burst on the American Airlines D concourse and that appeared to be toilet water which was black and not green.

  1. Damn, all these years I thought those things live and hunt only somewhere in Southeast Asia. Now they’re in Florida?!

    Get the clean up crew

    Major Dutch…..GET TO THE CHOPPAH!

  2. I love the media write ups on this story: “MYSTERIOUS POISONOUS green liquid closes down airport and much of major US city!!!!!” It’s glycol for cripes sake! A leak from the facility’s HVAC system.

It’s not unusual for such a thing to occur in these industrial grade systems, though the location and timing are inconvenient. But the apparent freak out over this is yet another reminder of how our society is led by idiots.

  3. Nice SPELLING ERROR IN THE TITLE

“Pouts Out” in the headline, “pours out” in the article.

  4. Fortunately, the green liquid was sucked up by wet vacs and recycled into margarita mix for EasyJet flights during the World Cup. Nobody was any the wiser.

  5. Miami Concourse G makes any third world airport look like a palace. The place is a complete shithole and has not been renovated in over 30 years.

Mayor Cava – Looking at you!

  6. I hope they had a proper clean up crew come in and clean up the mess pronto, but also have someone doing testing on the green florecent slime, cause who knows if it could of had contaminates in it at all. It’s better to be safe than sorry
