The past several months have seen deep discount fares and fare wars like we haven’t seen in a long time.
Here are 4 deals found elsewhere today that are still live as of this writing:
- The Flight Deal: Washington Dulles – Paris $493 roundtrip on United
- Loyalty Traveler: This is a deal for Europeans to come to the U.S., Fare war from 11 European Countries to California for $359 – $491 roundtrip
- AirfareSpot: Houston – Hong Kong $526 roundtrip on Air China
- The Flight Deal: Philadelphia – Johannesburg $862 roundtrip on British Airways (TFD identifies $791 fares but I haven’t seen them.)
Kowloon, Hong Kong
Not to be pedantic but most of your shot is Hong Kong island. Only that tiny bit of light to the far right of the picture is Kowloon.
ORD to London is currently $598 for dates around Thanksgiving. AA and BA. Only available via Google flights.
Hi Gary! There have been great British Airways deals from LAX to both Johannesburg and Cape Town. They price almost $100 cheaper on Priceline versus ITA Matrix or BA’s website. I booked $737rt from LAX to CPT May 26 to June 4, 2017. Never seen South Africa that cheap from California!
Recently, both UA and AF were selling business class direct IAD – CDG the two weeks after US Thanksgiving for about $2900 RT. They are often cheap around that time, but I suspect the tourist business is down. Yapta tells me the prices have gone up again, though I imagine that is temporary unless demand increases.
