Kuala Lumpur is one of my favorite cities in the world. It’s probably my favorite food city, from satay to prawn mee to amazing roti.
It’s an interesting city with good food — probably the most decadent breakfast buffets in the world — and some of the best deals on luxury accommodations.
My favorite place to stay there is the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. I first stayed there after it opened in 2012.
I’ve been back, and it’s only gotten better. It’s one of the top hotels in the city, has perhaps my favorite club lounge breakfast, and has fantastic views of the Petronas Towers.
It’s a TripAdvisor 2017 Travelers Choice award winner and the #3 ranked hotel in Kuala Lumpur. I’ve seen very few properties with reviews this good.
And I’m going to give away a 3 night weekend stay there, in an upgraded view room with club lounge access, thanks to Luxury Travel Diary.

I would stay at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur because Kuala Lumpur is one of the few places that might sink under the ocean in the next decade so if I’m there why not stay at the best place.
I would like to stay at the Kuala Lumpur Hotel mostly because I trust Gary. I love that it is a new hotel (2012) and that it is in the top 3 hotels for the city!

That 3-night retreat in Ubud at the Blue Karm looks fantastic (especially at the current price of 58£). I’d use the time in Ubud to relax and go back for a few more gamelan music lessons, while checking out more art from the local painters — there are some incredibly talented artists in the area!

I absolutely adore Croatia… So the 5 Night Croatian Wilderness Escape At The Linden Tree Retreat & Ranch would be my first choice for the auction… but any one of these auctions would be wonderfully FABULOUS!!! The Grand Hyatt Seoul Korea would be INCREDIBLE because the Korean people are so warm and welcoming and their customer service is one of the highest rated. They are such lovely-lovely people and the hotel looks so beautiful and luxurious!!! The views are amazing and the food looks fabulous! I live among Korean families in Annandale, Virginia and how wonderful it would be to go to Korea and see their history and stay at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Korea!!! OMG!!! Hyatt, you rock all around the world!!!
