In a significant escalation, Hezbollah launched a series of rockets at central Israel on Wednesday, targeting areas near Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. The Israel Defense Forces reported that most of the projectiles, around ten in total, were intercepted, though one rocket impacted close to the airport, resulting in flight disruptions.
The Israel Airports Authority confirmed that operations continued normally for both arrivals and departures despite the missile attack, although some flights faced brief delays.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the missile barrage, asserting that its primary target was the IDF’s Tzrifin base, situated south of Ben Gurion Airport. They hit the airport by mistake.
Hezbollah made a terrible mistake by hitting Ben Gurion airport today.
They released a statement saying Ben Gurion wasn’t the actual target.

This sort of cuts against the claim that U.S. airlines are unfairly boycotting service to Israel. Although Ben Gurion Airport itself sustained no direct damage, Hezbollah’s decision to target facilities near the country’s primary air transit hub signals escalation.
Well, don’t expect U.S. carriers to resume service anytime soon.
Gary, when are you going to write about the Russian “personal massager bomb plots on airplanes leading Homeland Security to ban all personal electronic devices (including laptops) on airplanes?”
Hey terrorists, please keep dying so that you can achieve your ultimate objective: delaying a few flights. Nice job.
