  • I think we now know why it took American longer than United and Delta to issue new restrictions on emotional support animals, they were waiting on DOT assurances. The government has now basically blessed the airline crackdown,

The Department of Transportation Wednesday said it won’t penalize airlines if they refuse to let passengers take aboard more than one support animal, demand assurance that a passenger has a disability or require proof of an animal’s vaccination and training. The agency also will allow airlines to impose “reasonable restrictions” on the movement of emotional-support animals in a plane’s cabin.

  • Lufthansa Hit Hardest as Frankfurt Airport System Fails It’s striking that these systems aren’t more resilient.

A database system used to deploy staff crashed at Frankfurt Airport between 0100 and 1130GMT Wednesday, causing the cancellation of 70 flights, 23 of which were at Lufthansa.

…The system in question contains information on the position of aircraft which is used to send appropriate members of ground staff to planes. In this instance, Lufthansa has to ask flight crews to use radios and phones during the system failure.

  1. If it’s from fox (fix) news, it’s got to be fake…but sure to amuse trump tonight.

  2. Air India has a violently militant trade union, a staggeringly inefficient staff that results in huge losses. It probably needs to be owned by an Indian company (which country when it is frequent victim of terrorist strikes would give access to a majority of its airports to a foreign company?). If the debt was wiped out and the Gov’t agreed to bear all losses in excess of $100m maybe….

  3. The fact is, there was no D. B. Cooper. The hijacker never used that name. He was known as “Dan Cooper,” with “D. B. Cooper” bring simply a media invention.

  4. The DB Cooper story is lame and I don’t believe anything by FOX (Faux) “News”
