Via Dan’s Deals British Airways OpenSkies has a sale fare that lets you stack two discounts and get the price between New York (Newark and JFK) and Paris-Orly under $300 roundtrip.
- The AARP discount takes off $65 for economy roundtrips. It may only be worth half what it used to be worth for business class itineraries, but there’s an economy discount that doesn’t get talked about as much.
- And eligible Chase cardholders use promo code CARDOFFERU to take off an additional 10%. Avoid American Airlines flights, and fly in and out of the same airport, to use this discount.
This is mostly but not entirely midweek travel. A Saturday stay is required. And travel is available through end of schedule excluding most of June and July. For under $300 this is a great positioning flight between the US and Europe.
Meanwhile Pizza in Motion reminds that The Flight Deal covered a broader sale between several US cities and several cities in Europe for about $400 roundtrip on American and Delta for outbound travel in early May or for mid August through December.
These fares are still available, many as low as $380 roundtrip. Fly from cities like New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Philadelphia, Miami, San Francisco on American or Dallas on Delta. And fly to Amsterdam, Rome, Milan, Paris, and London.
Earlier this month I wrote that it’s the golden age of air travel with cheap fares all over the world. Most of those fares have been in economy, with sub-$400 roundtrips to Europe and Asia with amazing flash sales.
I certainly prefer travel in business class, and readers have been asking for those deals, in the past couple of weeks I’ve highlighted West Coast to several European cities from $2000 roundtrip, business class to several Asian destinations for $1954, and West Coast to Africa from $2146 roundtrip along with an amazing Singapore Airlines sale between the US and Asia (or Europe) for less than $2000 roundtrip.
Get booking folks, and get out and see the world.
