Hyatt’s Elevated Credit Card Offers: Start 2025 Earning More Free Nights And Suites

The start of the year is a great opportunity to get started with Hyatt. They’re the program that offers the most value transferring points from bank cards to a hotel program, and their status is the most generous of the major chains.

I especially enjoy confirmed suite upgrades at time of booking, real guaranteed late check-out (subject to availability at resorts, everywhere else it is usually proactively offered to me) and a breakfast benefit that actually spells out what breakfast is – and it’s not just ‘continental’.

This past week I enjoyed a Park Hyatt resort where I redeemed points for a standard room, confirmed a suite at the time of booking, and I’m enjoying my own private pool.

Chase and Hyatt are making it easy to get started right now, with elevated offers on their co-brand credit cards.

The World Of Hyatt Credit Card has an offer to earn up to 65,000 Bonus Points.

  • Earn 35,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening.
  • Plus, up to 30,000 More Bonus Points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 spent.

Here’s how the card operates:

  • You’ll receive 1 free night every year after your cardmember anniversary at any Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel or resort . There’s an additional free night after $15,000 in spend each cardmember year. So while $15,000 in spending is required to earn the full bonus, it makes a lot of sense to do this within the first six months because $15,000 can also earn an additional free night.

  • The card gets all my Hyatt spend at 4x earning, and it earns 2 bonus points per dollar spent at restaurants, on airline tickets purchased directly from the airlines, on local transit and commuting and on fitness club and gym memberships.

  • The card lets you get automatic World of Hyatt Discoverist status for as long as your account is open and 5 qualifying night credits every year. You earn 2 qualifying night credits every time you spend $5,000 on your card.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card will let you earn 60,000 Bonus Points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. Plus, 1 free night at any category 1-4 Hyatt hotel after spending $15,000 on purchases within the first 6 months of account opening.

Here’s how the card operates:

  • Ongoing earn is 4x on Hyatt spend and 2x spent in your top three spend categories each quarter as well as 2x spent on fitness club and gym memberships.

  • The card offers up to $100 in Hyatt statement credits – spend $50 or more at any Hyatt property and earn $50 statement credits up to two times each anniversary year.

  • But the real value here is the role the card plays in elite status: 5 tier-qualifying nights for every $10,000 spent in a calendar year. That’s a faster rate of earn than the consumer card.

It’s possible to earn Hyatt Globalist status on spend alone, but I use it to top off my quest for Globalist and beyond. Hyatt offers continued incremental benefits for every 10 elite night credits earned. That means the card really rides on the rails of the loyalty program – you aren’t just earning based on the benefits I’ve outlined above, but each time you cross a 10 elite night threshold there are additional benefits (like Globalist for a stay; confirmed suite upgrades; free night awards; and more).

The card has had a strong place in my wallet for many years, and continues to as I get started on 2025.
