Hyatt’s Facebook Game: Choose Bonus Points or Free Nights… or a Night With a Supermodel

Hyatt Gold Passport has a really cool Facebook game promoting Hyatt’s bonus points or free nights offer that runs through April 30.

Here’s how to strategically game the signup process.

Just like the Gold passport promotion asks you to choose between earning free nights or bonus points, Hyatt’s Facebook app asks you to choose ‘which one would you prefer’ with some options between two really good things… and some decisions that more closely resemble Sophie’s Choice.

Would you rather book the same vacation as your ex or your boss?

I was surprised to learn that more Hyatt Gold Passport members would rather be rescued in minutes than stuck overnight on a ski lift with a supermodel. But I guess it’s cold, the choice wasn’t being rescued or stuck in the ski lodge.

Hyatt execs really seem obsessed with supermodels:

But Gold Passport members really don’t seem to like supermodels very much.

The questions are different each time you play, although eventually some repeat. I’m probably the only one that would ‘play’ the game multiple times, even though there’s no prize of any sort.

Still, really cute and well done.

Bonus question: Do you recognize whose first class seat that is? Me, I’ve flown it many times, and I much prefer the airline on the ground at their home airport than in the air.

  1. stuck on a ski-lift overnight, risking death by hypothermia, to sit next to a vacuous, self-absorbed, literal poser? I wouldn’t say that “Gold Passport members really don’t seem to like supermodels very much.” It’s more like they have their priorities right.

  2. @Ben Senise – they voted against sitting in a middle seat nuzzled up against one, too, in favor of a solo first class seat. 😉

  3. How about…

Would you rather sit in first class next to a super model

    OR

Sit in an extra legroom coach seat with an empty middle seat next to you.

If the majority go for the latter then I think it is safe to say that Hyatt Gold Passport members really don’t like super models.

  4. That’s easy it’s the in between product of Thai Intl First, still fitted on some 747, and on all the airbus 330 – 340 that have a 3 class cabin afaik.
