Hyatt’s Visa Just Became A Status Machine — Double Elite Nights For New Cardmembers Through January 31

The World Of Hyatt Credit Card (See rates and fees)

I regularly use The World Of Hyatt Credit Card. Hyatt points are valuable, I stay with them often, those stays earn 4 points per dollar. Plus, spend on the card counts towards status and $15,000 spend each year also earns a category 1-4 free night certificate.

The card comes with category 1-4 free night certificate each year at renewal as well, it comes with 5 qualifying night credits toward status every year, and every $5,000 spent on the card earns 2 nights towards status as well.

Since Hyatt points are valuable we haven’t seen exceptionally large initial bonus offers for the card. Right now we’ve got what amounts to the standard offer, though, plus a kicker: double elite nights.

  • Earn 30,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening.
  • Plus, up to 30,000 More Bonus Points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 spent.
  • Plus, earn 2 total Tier-Qualifying Night Credits per eligible night at any Hyatt hotel or resort completed between October 16, 2025 and January 31, 2026, for up to 15 tier-qualifying nights with this offer. Apply by November 20, 2025.

The initial bonus, points-earning, free nights and elite credit are strong enough that the card has a place in my wallet. But what’s really interesting right now is the limited-time offer of double qualifying nights.

  • You can earn double qualifying nights to accelerate your status earned in 2025 for next year (stays through end of calendar year).
  • You can earn double qualifying nights at the start of next year to accelerate your status earned in 2026 for 2027 (January 1 – 31, 2026 stays).

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

This gets interesting and creative because the people who should be most interested in the card are also the people most interested in Hyatt status. Globalist receives complimentary upgrades up to suites, club access or breakfast at most brands and properties, and guaranteed 4 p.m. late check-out and most non-resort properties. Guests also earn confirmed at time of booking suite upgrades, a dedicated concierge, and the ability to gift top status for a day to other members.

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Breakfast

Park Hyatt Paris Breakfast

Hyatt is the program I stay with most, especially with my family, because of the confirmed suite upgrades. Otherwise I’d be booking and paying for two rooms! Plus their breakfast benefit is ‘real’ (they actually define what breakfast is, and it’s not continental) and I’m almost always proactively asked/offered 4 p.m. late check-out. It’s not a benefit I’ve had to fight for. So I’m happy to put a little spend on the card to ensure I’m treated better on my stays.

  1. Almost ready to cancel mine not one promotion I can even think of
Hyatt might as well close its marketing dept sad
The card has become a dud other than charging Hyatt nights @ 4 points per dollar

  2. @dwondermeant — I still consider it a keeper card, yes, for Hyatt stays, and if you use the Category 1-4 free night each year before expiration, that should at least be breakeven for the annual fee.
