JetBlue is still losing money. They’ve set aside nearly $4 billion of their cash to buy Spirit Airlines (really, your cash given the taxpayer subsidies received during the pandemic). So they need more money. They’re trying to generate some with a legitimate fare sale.
This isn’t just a claim about low fares you can get now, this is literally a discount code that will take $25 off each way on a ticket you book – the promo code is FALLSALE.
- Book by 11:59 p.m. August 3
- Travel September 7 – November 16 (Monday – Thursday and Saturday only, no Friday or Sunday travel)
- Minimum ticket cost is $50 each way, excluding taxes and fees
- No connecting flights, transatlantic flights, or business class
JetBlue is still a marginally better experience in the air than many other carriers, given an extra inch of legroom and free fast wifi. They can be somewhat chaotic on the ground. Operationally they’ve stabilized compared to spring, but cancellations remain elevated. You can credit JetBlue flights to American Airlines AAdvantage as well.
With our flight delays in April I don’t trust them to book with them now
