Yesterday I posted about HYATT house’s new extended stay VIP benefits and that I’d be doing a giveaway of a 2-night HYATT house stay that waives the 30 day requirement to qualify for “Very Important Resident” status on that stay and gets you the inside track on giving those benefits a spin.
Here’s how to enter to win:
- Read about the new HYATT house ‘Very Important Resident’ benefits.
- Leave a comment in this current contest post, answering the question “Which new benefit is your favorite and why?” Is it the ability to pick your suite, the grocery shopping service, the personalized hotel tour, or something else?
- You may enter up to once a day — and I give you a bit of slack in this, I won’t disqualify any entry as long as you don’t make more than one entry per calendar day or as long as no entry is closer than 24 hours together from another one. And if you’re close, we’re cool. I’m not looking to disqualify people, just to make sure there’s no massive ballot stuffing.
All entries (comments) must be received no later than Sunday, June 2 at Noone Eastern time.
I will draw the winner at random early next week from those that meet these guidelines. Make sure you enter a valid e-mail address when entering to be eligible to win (you do not need to leave an email address in the comments, but along with your name where it asks for your email that email must be ‘real’ or I will have no way of contacting you).
I’m the final arbiter in all matters related to this contest and in all matters of interpretation. There is no appeal. I’m doing this because there’s an opportunity to send out some cool prizes, and not taking anything from them in return, so please don’t give me a hard time in the process.
Any questions? email me. And hopefully the winner will also follow up with me to let me know their impressions of the new HYATT house benefits for guests making extended stays.
Pick your suite benefit is just too sweet to pass up!
I’m sticking with my original pick on the grocery service!
The grocery service…time saved!
Shopping, definitely
pick your suite
The pick-your-suite benefit sounds best to me.
With two young kids in tow, the grocery shopping benefit is the clear winner for us!
Pick your suite
I would love to pick my own suite.
Pick Your Suite as I like to have a room on high floor with a view and away from elevators.
this is easy: the made-to-order Omelet Bar!
Choice of suite would be great.
At some hotels a tour would be fun – especially if you are there for an extended time. Getting your bearings at the start.
Pick-Your-Suite: Why not get the best option for yourself?!
Pick your suite. Thanks for the contest Gary
Pick your suite sounds awesome!
Pick your suite sounds great!
Is there one in Tokyo?
I also love the “pick your suite” option…
I think the grocery shopping option is the most helpful benefit
Picking a suite instead of being assigned one would be awesome!
Grocery shopping, for sure. I do enough of that at home!
Fav would be the Pick your Suite benefit!
Grub stub, please!
Does the grocery shopping include the request: “A sample of local craft beers”? If so, I’m in!
A Hyatt you say? I’ve never stayed at a Hyatt.
pick your suite!
washer and dryer allow for lighter packing!
Sticking with pick your suite.
Still gotta love the grocery shopping for the best eating style whether on own or with family.
Pick your suite, so that I can choose the exact location I prefer (quiet side of building, better view, etc.).
Breakfast
I’m amazed how popular the grocery shopping is. I’m still voting for Pick Your Suite!
My favorite benefit is “Pick-Your-Suite.” I appreciate having the decision-making power inherent in that option.
Hands down I love the pick your own suite amenity. As an architecture student I often pick hotels based on their design and views. Hyatt, more than any other brand, selects some of the best architects in the world to design their hotels. In fact, their John Portman-designed hotels, such as the San Francisco and Atlanta Hyatt Regencies, partially inspired me to become a designer myself! That being said, there have been multiple occasions where I’ve booked a hotel for a specific view, only to find out that that view wasn’t available. In one case I ended up in an entirely different wing of the building than I expected! This amenity eliminates this, and it’s a great new feature for those of us who care about these details.
Favorite is Pick Your Suite
i like the grocery shopping service. that’s something beyond the typical services a hotel can offer. shows real commitment to have staff devoted to meeting your travel needs beyond just the time spent in the hotel room resting.
Pick a suite
My vote is for the Scrub Stub. That translates into lighter packing for long trips.
Pick your suite is sweet!

The grocery shopping service. Hands-down!
Pick your suite!
the grub stub seems cool for a last minute snack when you’re on the run or to hold you over until the grocery shopping service delivers!
The grocery shopping benefit would be very handy!
Pick your own suite is my preferred benefit! Thanks for chance to win this give-away.
One last vote for the grocery service!
The breakfast is usually welcome.
