- Miami D60 is a special form of misery.
@AmericanAir complaint again! Left me, my wife, and my 9 month old in the rain, wind, and lightning while directed to wait in the rain to board the plane for 25 mins. pic.twitter.com/sSgJDAnubq

- Never stay anywhere that the airline will put you up for free.
This has been the worst experience ever! I fly all the time for work and never fly American, today confirmed why. Do you see the reviews for the hotel I’m supposed to lay my head at tonight?? pic.twitter.com/HgvpFh6jX2

D60 is the new 35X
Lufthansa had losses and I’m sure that some of the customers also had collateral losses. I would wish that the customers were also made whole.
I’ve honestly always loved flying out of D60 because it’s so unique. That said, the VP of AA’s Miami hub really should be fired not having done any coordination with his gate team at AA or Envoy and sending pax out into a VERY well known massive rain event like that. That’s extremely poor leadership from the top at MIA.
But he won’t because no one ever gets fired at AA for performance and why you somehow had the COO of the US’ consistently worst performing operational airline, AA, somehow rewarded by being made CEO. Go figure…
