A Marriott Knoxville guest reports getting to their room and discovering that the bed was “soaking wet with cleaning products…there was poop everywhere on the mattress.” But that wasn’t all.
There was also poop on the floor between the beds that I guess the cleaning people missed. Not only extremely ridiculous to give this room to another customer but also unsanitary.

“Amber Heard enters the chat?” Seriously it’s not clear what happened here. Maybe it was from changing a baby. Maybe there was a dog in the room. Either way, even aside from the significant cleaning products used here it’s impossible for proper housekeeping to miss this when changing sheets and cleaning the room. And the room was presumably inspected after it was cleaned, so this was deemed acceptable to give to a guest.
What blows me away most about this incident is that another guest says they experienced the same thing at this hotel!

Surely this is a mattress that should have been changed, and certainly the room shouldn’t have been given to a guest this way.
I’ve written about deceptive and cheap practices by another Rockbridge-owned Marriott hotel in the past. And, unsurprisingly (to me at least), this one appears to be managed by Aimbridge. My mental model is that Aimbridge is whom you hire when you want to milk a property with limited investment.
I’ve reached out to Aimbridge for comment on Thursday and will update if they respond.
Bonvoy’d again… seriously though, their recent point devaluations upset me even more than shit soaked beds, because if this happened, I’d get another room or just leave and go to Hyatt, Hilton, even IHG, or just home.
No baby could truly get sh/t everywhere in such a drenching fashion. Some folks met up and got weird. It’s a poop bed in Trumps America. Be free.
Marriott really wants to be the “Hertz” of the hotel industry.
Another day, another horror story.
Language please. The correct term is “fecal-stained.”

Are we certain that it was of human origin? ‘Scat’ may be more appropriate.
