Hyatt is offering 2500 points every 5 qualifying nights at Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency hotels starting today through checkouts August 31. Registration is required by July 15.
This is a lot less generous than their last promotion.
- Through May 31 they were offering 1000 points per night at full service properties, 500 at limited-service properties. That was twice as many points, and you didn’t have to hit night thresholds to earn the points.
- And it offered points at all of their brands, not merely Grand Hyatts and Hyatt Regencys.
Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur
Nothing is offered at Park Hyatt hotels, Andaz, Hyatt Centrics, Unbound Collection properties, etc. They American Airlines bonus for Hyatt Place stays ends June 30.
You should register even if you don’t expect to stay much at Grand Hyatts or Regencys because you might wind up with stays unexpectedly and you’ll never remember to register later.
500 points per night only at each 5 night threshold isn’t much, but hotels generally aren’t doing much with promotions. Hilton is offering double points but base earning in that program is the least rewarding to start with. Marriott and Starwood’s current promotion is weak sauce.
Grand Hyatt San Francisco
Hotels are full and room rates are up, the effect of last year’s hurricane season notwithstanding we should hit all time records for 2018. And that’s why hotel marketing programs aren’t spending a lot to put heads in beds — there aren’t many empty beds out there to start with.
Does P+C night count?
Thanks,

@Fan, you’ll have to make a call for clarification as the T&C only says:
“For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay.”
Yes, pts+cash nights would count for the bonus. Points plus cash are ‘eligibile rates’. Always has been with World of Hyatt.
I think this is great news to see yet another promotion. Sure it may not be the most exciting or lucrative but even at the max 500pts each night average when you book 5 nights, is during the busy summer travel season.
Unfortunately I already have 10 nights booked at Park Hyatts 🙂 but I am sure to book at least 5-10 nights at Grand / Regency to collect some bonus points. And this came after another promo.
Hyatt really has made some positive changes this year.
