I don’t know what the New Orleans Pelicans are but they have a new credit card from Cardless and it’s offering,
- 4x on restaurants, bars and gas
- 30,000 points after $2000 spend within 3 months ($300 in statement credits)
The card has no annual fee, no late fees, and no foreign transaction fees.
Brand-specific benefits include 4x points on Pelicans tickets; 10% off purchases at concession stands during Pelicans games at the Smoothie King Center; 10% off at the Pelicans Team Store; and 25% bonus redeeming points for Fanatics gift cards.
Honestly I had to look up what sport the Pelicans played (basketball) but this card is really good for 4% back in a popular earn category without an annual fee.
Pelicans card gets top billing! Is it good for double-dipping?
I’m always amazed at people’s lack of sports knowledge. Guess it would be like me talking pop culture.
I got in on the Manchester United version of this card last year. I mailed in my request to opt-out of the Mandatory Arbitration clause. A few weeks later, someone from their customer service (they sounded on-shore too!) actually called me to confirm that this was completed on my account. This is a MasterCard and at least on the Manchester United version has no foreign transaction or currency conversion fee.
The Pelicans are a LPGA team. Obviously, you’re unfamiliar with the game of golf.
Who the heck is Cardless? Would love to replace Amex Gold and eliminate its high AF but not sure its worth the aggravation of dealing with customer service at a 2nd tier bank when some restaurant skims my card.
Probably preferable to use X1 card
