- Global Entry has a customer service line. Here’s what it’s like and how to reach them.
- The Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund — named for the captain of United Flight 93 which was downed in Pennsylvania and never made the hijackers’ target on 9/11 and which provides scholarships to aspiring commercial pilots — is holding its annual gala in Denver fittingly on September 10. - oneworld airline LAN has entered into a deferred prosecution agreement and agreed to pay a criminal penalty for bribing union officials.
LAN Airlines S.A. (LAN), executed a fictitious $1.15 million consulting agreement with an advisor to the Secretary of Argentina’s Ministry of Transportation in October 2006. Although the agreement purportedly required the consultant to undertake a study of Argentine airline routes, the consultant never provided any such services. Instead, the purported consultant funneled the monies he received pursuant to the contract to Argentine labor union officials in exchange for the union agreeing to accept lower wages and to not enforce what would have been a costly labor rule.

- Passengers went through a security checkpoint without screening at New York LaGuardia because the TSA didn’t turn on the scanner.
The snafu was discovered at about 8 a.m. Sunday inside Terminal D by TSA Agent Eva Cocoli, according to sources.
Delta Air Lines supervisor Deborah Trapani quickly ordered the checkpoint closed, while Port Authority cops tracked down nine of the unscanned fliers.
Finding them took about an hour, and they all had to be brought back to the checkpoint to be properly inspected..authorities determined that at least six other passengers who went unscanned were not located and were assumed to have boarded planes, police officials said.

But I’d bet the Pseudo Journalism of the DNC would have you believe that America and American Air Travel is the “BEST IN THE WORLD”
Buzz that in your “feed”.
Gary, are you also an expert on labor relations abroad for airlines? You still don’t understand the RLA, Section 6 negotiations, JCBA negotiations.
@Josh G – what do you disagree with that I’ve written in this post?
Eh Josh G, the OP is a paying customer. A person who has paid the airline for their services. He doesn’t need to show his credentials to practice before the National Labor Relations Board.
It really is true. I always thought Ronnie was a little light in the head. But Unions have a whole lot to do with the core “problem” going forward in America.
