I’m sick and tired of credit card coupon books, especially when they’re used to justify annual fee increases. Some consumers can make the economics work. The economics of the Entertainment Book used to work, too! There can be value here but the approach doesn’t respect my time, and it isn’t premium.

Marriott Nightmare: After Cancelled American Airlines Flight, Bonvoy Titanium Woke Up To $160 Million Lawsuit

An American Airlines passenger was stuck overnight in Charlotte, and booked a room at the Charlotte Marriott City Center since he was a Bonvoy Titanium member.

He went to bed. It turns out that the self-closing door wasn’t working quite right, and didn’t close all the way. It wasn’t locked.

American Airlines has changed one policy that made it difficult to go legit, pay the fee, and keep fido or fifi in under the seat in front of them. American will no longer require you to forfeit your full-sized carry-on bag when flying with a pet in cabin.

Beyond the 1,250-Mile Limit: The FAA Bill That Could Transform Air Travel from D.C.

The current draft of the Senate’s FAA reauthorization bill includes 10 new beyond-perimeter slots for Washington’s National airport. Currently, flights out of that airport are restricted to 1,250 miles except for a handful of exceptions provided in law and handed out by the Department of Transportation.

Congress Is On The Verge Of Exempting Itself From Airport TSA Checkpoints

At the beginning of February, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced legislation that would exempt many Members of Congress, Cabinet Secretaries, and federal judges from airport security checkpoints. They would, instead, receive dedicated airport escorts and private security screening. It’s now closer to passing.

Chase Shakes Up Priority Pass Benefits: Say Goodbye to Free Meals
