On Wednesday, a passenger at Kansas City airport Southwest Airlines gate B66 got into an argument with an agent at the counter. The man, with long dreadlocks, beanie, glasses, and beard in a dark hoodie, kept leaning into the counter gesticulating widly.
He threatened to slap and hit airline employees, saying he didn’t care about being arrested, because he’d been there “since 5:30” and it was around noon. He kept dropping “I’m from the UK, n—–a!” as he threatened the Southwest agent at the gate.
He put his hand on the agent’s computer screen. They threatened to call police, and he shouted:
I don’t give a f–k about getting arrested, bitch!
I’ll still smack your bitch ass!
This counter ain’t saving you!
If I wanted to, I would have got your bitch ass already.
A man in a green hoodie and blue beanie body blocked in and tried to calm him, while a passenger in a red cap restrained him and guided him away. At one point, an older man in a cap stepped up face-to-face while others quickly separated them.
NEW: Man has a complete meltdown in the Kansas City airport, threatens to slap female Southwest workers.
"I'm from the UK, n*gga!" he said.
Passengers waiting for their flight were seen standing up to defend the workers, as security was nowhere to be seen.

Ultimately, the aggressive passenger was taken away from the gate area and down the concourse while he kept yelling and pointing.
It appears this was triggered by a “potential threat” at the airport that was a false alarm. Passengers had been evacuated from the terminal for a search and let back in after noon.

Hmmm! Homie says what?
The false alarm is frustrating; how we react to such inconveniences is under our control. This individual’s misbehavior is the issue, not their background, origin, etc.
Kudos to the gentleman in the red hat and the lady in the red and white hat for their efforts to prevent escalation. But, yes….where was Security?
