News and notes from around the interweb:

- Sadly, with the current interior there’s just no padding to absorb the gas.
@babygirlforlife004 - Great recognition – for a feat that’s a bit more rare on JetBlue than United.

Wouldn’t let me register for Marriott promo
Targeted?
@Dwondermeant The Marriott promo appears to be public. It worked for me on a desktop. Maybe try ‘turning it off and on again’ or like ‘log out then log back in again.’ With their recent devaluations, we’re all gonna need 2-3x points bonuses to breakeven moving forward.
While it is completely unacceptable, I suggest that any British Airways passenger who finds their blanket soaked in vomit consider upgrading to Delta Air Lines for their next flight. At least there, they might receive a laundered blanket with a more luxurious and PREMIUM kind of vomit.
On JetBlue ‘million miler,’ that is truly impressive since most of their flights are like 2-4 hours, 1-2K miles, other than a few of their S. American and European routes. Well done, lady!
On LH refueling, it is less about that airline and more about mismanagement and corruption in South Africa. Sadly, this is not the first time fuel shortages affected JNB flights, and it likely won’t be the last. I’ve faced significant delays and cancellations on UA 188/187 (EWR-JNB) several times due to that issue alone. JNB is at about 5,500 feet elevation so that also complicates things as well. Also, certain times of year, Joburg often gets wildfires–one literally was burning on the airport grounds a little while back. Their government can hardly keep the lights on as it is (rolling blackouts). Still, I love the place, but I wish they’d do better.
