Scandinavia’s flight SK4236 from Stockholm to Turku, Finland “spun 180 degrees on runway after landing” this evening.
After a 35 minute flight the one and a half year old Bombardier CRJ-900 operated by Cityjet “skidded on runway” due to heavy snow.
Passengers explained the plane did a hard landing and bounced several times until it reached the end of runway. Several tires of the plane were damaged during the incident.

After the incident the airport closed down briefly, and the return flight using the aircraft was cancelled. Scary as a passenger but grateful that everyone apparently is alright.
Was on an Aloha flight LAX-HNL once in turbulence so bad it closed all airports, felt like tail was trying to come around in front but this is not possible to gauge. Is it even possible?
24 years ago I skidded and slid on an SAS prop flight VAA-POR-TKU-ARN…lots of fun in winter over there!
Rough day for the Finns, the train collision also…
